If so, how is this a good place for families with children, etc.?

Long Bay Resort Has Anyone Stayed At The Long Bay Resort In Myrtle Beach, SC?

We stayed at the station in Long Bay in August 2006. There is much to do with children in Long Bay - the lazy river, indoor and outdoor children swimming pools indoor and outdoor games, etc. We stayed in an apartment on the beach with three bedrooms. They have done everything in the bed linen, towels for room service. We enjoyed our stay. There is a restaurant and a Starbucks on the property. Lifts can sometimes wait a little, but it is much quieter room above a floor. We were on the 14th Floor.
