Clerk Phone Is It Rude For A Clerk To Lay Down His Cell Phone To Assist A Customer Instead Of Hanging Up?

Is it rude for a clerk to lay down his cell phone to assist a customer instead of hanging up? - clerk phone

I ask because I had to discuss an issue with him, and he was on his cell phone when I went and put down the phone to talk to me. As such, I felt there were three people in the conversation, and it was disturbing. Do you feel that there should be hanged? Do you believe that your behavior was rude.

Yes, he had hanged himself. Mobile phones should not be used to dealing with customers.

Yes - should not at all in your mobile phone. Who is so great, it makes me angry. I do of people who are tired, just for a paycheck working trip, and not even bother to serve, and their work.

First, it should not be used on mobile phones to work. If your boss was there, probably not have been on the phone. The best thing was to tell the person at the other end of the interview again and give it special attention to you. Let me say something else, I am an employee and I think that is the hardest, while on business with customers who have a conversation with someone on your cell phone to try. Courtesy in both directions, and I wish people would recognize.

I think this behavior is very impolite. The employee has the right to say: "I'll call you" and hang up, but paid the employees to provide customer service for you. Failure to provide the care that few complaints, you should go directly to the manager. An employee is not paid to talk on the phone! As a manager, I'm not interested until I realized that the secretary did not give attention to a client.

Even if there is something for medical or financial, it is illegal, to the mobile phone connected to U.S. law and the rules of European privacy. This of course can not be valid in other countries.

You have nothing to be first to reach the phone. You pay for the work not to chat. That is, it probably wouldnt be expected if we realize that we are on the phone .... There is evidence that almost all the shops.

What is the difference, if, on a cell phone or means that you can on a mobile phone? I work in catering and I see people talk all the time on a cell phone while I talk with them. I was wondering.

It was his personal mobile phone or work? If it's a personal conversation, so I hung very rude, which will not be functional chit chat on the phone. But if it is a work phone and spoke with a customer, then he should have ended a call with the client, then come to you.

Now we discuss some private or personal for him, like drugs, so that someone else is listening to your personal data? Otherwise I would not worry about him that we probably do not talk on his cell phone while you work, but as we all do, sometimes things are important and should be resolved quickly know. Perhaps he was not sure if I could walk the person again soon, I will not hang.

I agree with you, I think the difficulty for an employee on a cell phone, for a start. Work of employees is to serve people in the store.
